Player Safety First

Responsible Gambling
at 555g

Gambling is meant to be entertaining — not a way to make money or escape problems. 555g provides the tools, information and support you need to keep it that way. Play within your means, know your limits and enjoy the game responsibly.

18+ Adults only. This platform is strictly for users aged 18 or older, or the higher minimum required by the applicable operator or license jurisdiction. Local laws — including the Prevention of Gambling Act, 1977 — may apply to your use of this site.

Gambling Should Always
Stay in Your Control

At 555g, we believe that responsible gambling is not a legal checkbox — it is a genuine commitment to our players. Whether you are betting on a Pakistan Super League fixture from Lahore, following an ICC tournament from Karachi, or enjoying live casino games from anywhere across Pakistan, your wellbeing comes before platform revenue.

Gambling problems can affect anyone — regardless of age, background or experience. The difference between entertaining play and harmful gambling often comes down to awareness. That is why 555g invests in player education, practical account controls and a support infrastructure that puts you first.

This page outlines the tools available to you, the warning signs to watch for and how to get help if gambling is no longer enjoyable. We encourage every player — whether in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, Multan, Peshawar or anywhere else — to read through this page and use the resources available.

Important: 555g does not claim that online gambling is licensed, endorsed or approved by the Government of Pakistan, PTA, State Bank of Pakistan or any Pakistani authority. Players are solely responsible for understanding their local legal obligations before using this platform.

Tools to Keep You in Control

Every 555g account comes with a built-in suite of responsible gambling controls. These tools are yours to use at any time — no waiting periods, no questions asked.

Deposit Limits

Set a maximum deposit amount over a daily, weekly or monthly period denominated in PKR. Once your limit is reached, no further deposits are accepted until the period resets. Reducing a limit takes effect immediately; increasing one requires a mandatory cooling-off period.

Loss Limits

Cap the amount you are willing to lose within a set timeframe. When your net loss reaches your chosen PKR threshold, wagering is automatically paused for the remainder of the period. This gives you a hard ceiling without needing to track every bet manually.

Session Time Limits

Define how long a single gambling session can last. When your session limit is reached, you will be logged out automatically. You can also enable on-screen session duration reminders at set intervals — a useful nudge when you are deep in a PSL live betting run.

Reality Checks

Opt in to periodic on-screen notifications that display how long you have been playing and your net position for the session. Reality checks interrupt the flow of play just enough to bring you back to the present — and help you decide whether to continue or stop.

Cooling-Off Period

Take a short voluntary break from the platform for a period of your choosing — from 24 hours to several weeks. During a cooling-off period your account remains open but wagering and deposits are suspended. You can return at the end of the period without losing your account history.

Self-Exclusion

If you feel gambling is seriously affecting your life, self-exclusion allows you to close your account for a minimum period of six months or permanently. During exclusion, all marketing communications are stopped and re-registration is blocked. Contact support to activate this at any time.

Set Your Boundaries Before You Play

The most effective time to set account limits is before you start a session — not during one. Research consistently shows that pre-committed limits are far more effective than in-the-moment decisions made when emotions are running high, especially during high-stakes events like an ICC final or a PSL playoff night.

All limits at 555g are player-initiated. You choose the PKR amounts and time periods that suit your personal budget. We recommend starting conservatively: set a deposit limit that reflects your genuine disposable income — not your hoped-for winnings.

Increasing a limit always triggers a mandatory review period to prevent impulsive decisions. Decreasing a limit, or activating a cooling-off, takes effect immediately with no delay.

Practical tip: Think of your gambling budget the same way you think about entertainment spending — like tickets to a cricket match at National Stadium Karachi. Once the budget is spent, the entertainment is over for that period.

Daily Limit

Maximum PKR you can deposit or lose in any 24-hour window.

Weekly Limit

A rolling seven-day cap. Useful for players who prefer weekly budgeting.

Monthly Limit

The broadest guardrail — ideal for players who fund accounts monthly.

Session Limit

Time-based control. Auto-logout after your chosen session duration.

Loss Ceiling

Hard stop on net losses within any chosen period, in PKR.

Wager Limit

Maximum single-bet or total stake amount per period.

Warning Signs of Problem Gambling

Problem gambling rarely announces itself. It tends to develop gradually — what starts as casual sports betting on a T20 match can, for some people, quietly become something harder to control. Recognising the early signs is the first and most important step toward getting help.

The signs below are not a clinical diagnosis. They are indicators worth paying attention to. If several of these resonate with you — or with someone you know — we encourage you to reach out to our support team or review the self-assessment questions on this page.

Remember: Gambling should never be used as a way to cope with stress, financial pressure or emotional difficulties. If it has become a coping mechanism, please speak to someone you trust or contact a support service.

Increasing bet sizes or continuing to play after a losing run in an attempt to "win it back" is one of the clearest signs of problematic behaviour. Losses in gambling are a sunk cost — chasing them almost always results in larger losses.

Regularly spending more than you can afford — including money set aside for household expenses, rent, utility bills or family needs — is a serious warning sign. Gambling should only ever involve disposable income.

Concealing how much time or money you spend gambling from family members or close friends — or feeling the need to be secretive about your activity — suggests that on some level you recognise the behaviour may have gone too far.

Experiencing anxiety, guilt, irritability or low mood in connection with gambling — whether after a loss, during a forced break, or simply when thinking about it — indicates that gambling has moved beyond recreation and may be affecting your mental wellbeing.

Regularly losing track of how long you have been gambling — or finding that sessions frequently extend far beyond what you originally intended — is a behavioural pattern worth addressing. Our session time tools are specifically designed to help with this.

When gambling begins to interfere with work, family time, social commitments or daily responsibilities — such as missing prayers, arriving late to work, or withdrawing from family gatherings — it has likely crossed the line from entertainment into something more serious.

Check In With Yourself

These questions are not a diagnostic tool — they are a personal prompt to help you reflect on your relationship with gambling. If you answer "yes" to several of them, we encourage you to use our account controls or speak to our support team.

1

Have you ever bet more than you could afford to lose in a single session or week?

2

Have you needed to gamble with increasing amounts of money to get the same level of excitement?

3

Have you tried to cut back or stop gambling, but found it difficult to do so?

4

Have you gambled as a way to escape from stress, problems or negative feelings?

5

Have you returned to gambling shortly after losing money, trying to recover your losses?

6

Have you lied to family members, friends or colleagues about the time or money you spend gambling?

7

Has gambling ever caused you financial difficulties — such as borrowing money, missing bill payments, or running short before your next salary?

8

Have you ever felt restless, irritable or anxious when attempting to reduce or stop gambling?

If you answered yes to two or more of the above, we recommend activating a deposit or time limit on your account, or speaking to our support team. You can also request a cooling-off period or self-exclusion at any time — no justification needed.

Responsible gambling support organisations offer confidential advice, counselling and self-help tools. 555g encourages any player who is struggling to reach out — whether to our own support team or to a recognised support service in your area.

Our support team is reachable 24 hours a day, 7 days a week in English and Urdu. Contact us at [email protected] (plain text — not a clickable link) to request account limits, a cooling-off period or self-exclusion. We respond to all responsible gambling requests as a priority.

Closing the Door When You Need To

Self-exclusion is one of the most powerful responsible gambling tools available. It is a voluntary, player-initiated process that restricts access to your 555g account for a defined period — or permanently. It is not a punishment; it is a resource.

When you self-exclude on 555g, the following actions are taken immediately:

  • Your account is suspended and wagering is blocked.
  • All marketing and promotional emails are immediately stopped.
  • Any pending deposit requests are cancelled.
  • Your account balance becomes available for withdrawal after identity verification.
  • Re-registration attempts using the same identity details are blocked for the exclusion period.

The minimum self-exclusion period is six (6) months. After the period expires, re-activation requires a deliberate request and a mandatory 24-hour reflection window — there is no automatic re-opening.

For permanent self-exclusion, the closure is irreversible. We strongly recommend permanent exclusion for any player who feels their gambling has become unmanageable.

To activate self-exclusion: Contact our support team at [email protected] or use the Self-Exclusion option within your account settings. Our team will process the request immediately, with no waiting period.

Exclusion Period Options

Short Break 24 hours – 6 weeks
Cooling-Off Period 6 weeks – 6 months
Self-Exclusion 6 months – 5 years
Permanent Exclusion Irreversible
